I purchased 2 standard @Waylens cameras from the Kickstarter campaign. This has been the biggest piece of trash I have ever purcahsed> Both – consistently overheat, the video is horrible, the customer service is non-existent and "web email only" and the fact that they've sent me 4 NEW UNITS based upon the "kickstarter backer" . Each one is equally junk. SO Yeah 700 bucks and I just threw the cameras, the OBD-II link and the stupid non/never working "capture remote button" Anyway, stay away from WAYLENS in ALL ASPECTS.
Waylens needs to redesign their lens to gather light from the areas that are of interest….seeing the raw footage, I see that 70% of the video is recording of the sky which is completely wasted resolution.
If this concept ever got refined with a reliable parking mode it could be the ultimate anti vandalism protection. I would gladly run one next to my dr900s 2ch in parking mode 👍

i wish i would of googled this camera too before i had it installed… everyone who has purchased this camera should be able to get their money back or given some type of credit towards another camera while they work on perfecting this product!!!!!!!

Just get a micro SD card reader/adapter. Problem solved for easily viewing videos on the computer.
I feel this isn't the best if you want to catch someone who did a hit a run. As he said, and showed, you can't see the finer details. But I bought this cam and use it as a security camera for my car. When going in trips or living/staying in an area you can't trust. Its great to have a camera that captures what's going on all around the immediate area and inside the cabin. THOUGH I must admit I wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't $100 off. Drive safe, team.
What poor quality. Now with night IR vision has anyone tried to fit a IR Illumination light. Just added one to our security cameras and made huge difference. They are 12v. I’d try it but don’t have a dash cam.

i have a live view cam to my iphone. But it only works when i am about 10 feet away. is there a way to extend the wifi so i can live view it from 20 meters please?

Why wouldn't you hang it from the middle roof of the car. You can't see s**t at the back, when its on the dash.
