I'm an ol'Toppie and just starting my channel. Just bought one to see how it works on offroad bikes. I can't compare to Gopro as I have the old drift HD. Hopefully this is a step up, I won't be filming in 4k just 1080. Hope I haven't wasted money.

Hi Mo, great video…. do you think you could show the video quality under water in a pool or something just to get an idea of how the video quality would be if I used it when I go snorkeling?
I got the Volcano X 4K Action Camera – and it definitely doesn't shoot 4K. I've taken better videos with a crappy phone than this camera. It might look 4K on the little screen – but once I upload the video to my PC – it's dull and it doesn't look like similar videos I've seen shot with older GoPro cameras. Have you shot the comparison video yet? I'm seriously considering selling my Volcano Camera and getting a GoPro – but I'm not that experienced – so I might not have set the settings to its optimal stats. I even sent the footage to Volcano and they said it was correct – but it doesn't take someone with mutant eyes to see that the video quality is not comparable to footage from other devices. Would like to hear your take on this or to see your comparison video.
Hi Mo, I would like to get this cam for creating youtube videos – My office is in between a school and I slightly bust highway, since the cam does not support external mic will the internal mic pic up the environmental sounds? Will the environmental sounds have a negative impact on my recordings?
