Never bought an action camera before but wanting to get into editing videos as I snowboard alot and like to travel and want to capture these moments, I want a budget video camera that has good video quality and stabilisation as don't want it to look shakey if going pretty fast down a mountain but if possible would also like it to be quite durable as do get some knocks and bumps , can anyone recommend anything please, stuck between go pro hero 5 and the yi 4k . Thanks 😊

I have the Yi 4k already, but it's now having trouble connecting to WiFi connections for livestreaming. It always gets to a certain point and says "Network connection failure, retrying" and then never connects. Any information on this would be much appreciated. Also, the firmware is up to date. Did they just stop supporting Android with it?

Don't but gopros I had all the models and they always frozen while using, and don't last more than a year… Happened to me and many people I talked about it…

Any future viewers let me me tell you this. Do NOT buy ANY of these cameras. All of these camera's are overpriced. Does your action camera seriously need a GPS and WiFi module? No. That is called a "gimmick". While these features may be nice (and have some practical use-cases) there's not much sense for them. Instead of putting these unnecessary modules, they could have used that precious space to put, idk…maybe…, a bigger battery? But nah 1.5 hours is "great" battery life for a camera. Fuck outta here with this shit.

I'm finding it impossible to get full specs or even better, a user manual of any kind for a Yi camera. Their website is a dead loss. If it wasn't for the many good owner impressions I would look at something else. I want to know about remote control by voice and Bluetooth, for a start. For motorcycle I want to start/stop video without taking my attention off the road.
