been running nightowl for yrs now I cant get cameras for it anymore so i had to upgrade to the new 5mp system with 10 cameras expandable to 16 and i Trust night owl

At about 70 ft cant even read name on side of truck seems blurry.
Good cameras, but worthless setup. The cameras don't always records movements to be seen on cellphone.
i have the neighbors from hell. i moved to a town about 30 miles away and almost nightly they come by and vandalize and thieve. we set up the night owl which was sitting at walmart for $74 !!! !!!. 6 cam, 1T… all the good stuff.
we spent a day doing the install. 3 days later i turn on my PC to a full screen logo of the night owl. my human maggots of ex-neighbors had gotten under the house and split the cable or they took the numbers off the DVR during one of their break- ins and just logged em right in. then he hid the app and i can't find it.
now the jerk keeps a loop running and moves about at night with no eyes on him.
he has a mac and is fluent. i have a pc and it is a second language.
any help appreciated and has to be set out precisely. sorry, i'm that old.
Do you have to hit record manually when you want it to record to your phone or does it automatically record to the phone at all times???
OMG, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PRODUCT!!! I HATE THERE STUPID APP!!!! I HATE CALLING THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT BECAUSE THEY CAN NEVER HELP AND HAVE THE NERVE TO RUSH YOU OFF THE PHONE AND THEN HANG UP ON YOU…AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS FOR THEM TO ANSWER THE PHONE! ITS ALWAYS 2 HOURS OR MORE THAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR THEM TO ANSWER. RUN FROM THIS BRAND, THIS COMPANY!

It is a felony to steal from someone’s mailbox or mail and not a little one. It’s held in federal courts not local and max punishment is five years and 250,000 dollar fine. Glad the camera worked. Can you comment on how well you can see at night with it. Ex. Reading a license plate or name badge. Thank you for the great video.
