This was THE song that got me in to country music. One of the local stations changed from punk / New Wave to country. It was one of the only stations I got in my car. I was upset at first, I'll admit.
But, after hearing that, I was hooked. Super underrated song, and performer.
When this song was released in 1986, they had to use "cheap" at the 1:06 mark instead of "Jap". Anyone remember this?
