34092 City Of Wells setting out from Irwell Vale in its usual cloud of steam. The East Lancs Railway is just over the moors from Burnley and is as good a route home for me as any so it was a second short stroll to see a steam train. 34092 is now pretty much resident on the ELR and is the subject of an appeal to raise £340,920 to buy the loco and give it a permanent home.
