hyeee. do phone heats up when recording video in 1080p 60 fps? And how long do phone takes to fully shut down the camera? I have the XZ model and I'm a bit sad because I can't even ecord more than 2 minutes (1080p 60 fps) when under sunny condition. I want to upgrade to XZ1, but wondering if the XZ1 is just the same as XZ1 Compact. Please help…

I like the rear camera for daylight, but for low light it is really bad in that price class 🙁 .My 4 years old xperia z3 compact was doing a much better job, I hope they will improve their smartphone cameras or the camera software in the future.

Good review, thanks. I'm watching it on bigger brother Xperia XZ1. Love the boxy design of the Xperia line. Too bad Sony moved away.

Really good and detailed camera review! Also, the stabilization in full 8x zoom at 1080p30 is amazing, never seen a phone before that doesn't look shaky af in any kind of zoom. 😱

I got xz1 compact, Build quality and Performance are great, but the camera is unfortunately sh**t. Vids are ok, but the pics are not sharp, if you zoom in.

around 9:50 you said the picture looks pretty good in the viewfinder. now that you've seen it on the computer, would you say its low light video quality is close to what you were expecting at that time?

Hi, if you put a 256gb sd card in the phone, how long can you record on 1080p60fps before the phone stops for overheating or storage limit?

Thanks for your camera demo sony xz1compact . I just bought this phone today £300 here in Scotland UK , just spent the last 8 hours learning , haven't touched the camera yet looking forward to try over weekend , so far very pleased , i am very much a novice / low phone user , i am hoping it will last me a long time . Tks for your video the stabilisation on video looks very good to my untrained eye .

Thanks for the video! I love wide angle option it's a pity it's just on the front, theycould implement it also for the rear camera would be awesome! I didn't know xz2 compact doesn't have this option! Anyways xz1c is great designwise, not a fan of Sony's phones new looks, kinda looks like all other mobiles!
