She has a beautiful crystal clear voice and hits the notes without effort as befitting a great musician/singer. Listen to some of the uber produced multi tracked US cover versions and weep. In fact listen to anything produced by the American schmaltz industry and vomit into this bucket here.

Wonderful powerful yet haunting voice. A singer songwriter who could play piano and guitar. A real and enduring talent. So rare today as celebrities come and go. Sandy Denny has left an enduring legacy for others to listen and learn if they wish to be as talented.

What an amazing talented artist, this is the first time I've heard her music which I was directed to by the comments from the battle of evermore Led Zep song. I was trying to contemplate her style of music with other musicians, then I saw Grant Hurlburt's comment about Joni Mitchell and thought, that's the bugger yes she's very much like Joni Mitchell, but in a British folk kind of way. A really sad way to go I must say, it does make one wonder who's pulling all the strings of fate
