I loved Ronnie. I played keyboards for him (Hammond organ) during the days when Ian Stewart played piano (as long as the song was in a major key. If the song turned out to be in a minor key, Ian would make me play the piano part). They were a lovely bunch of guys, we played a lovely bunch of songs, Ronnie and his wife Katie were lovely people, and I miss those lovely days. Oh Ronnie, people like you are few and far away. Always missed, and always in the thoughts of people who knew you.

Nice doc. I had not followed the exploits of Ronnie Lane in my later life, I had wondered how he turned up in Texas.

I ike Pete townsend. He isn't what he first appears. A gentle soft spoken really nice bloke. I wish I had asked hime more questions when I had the chance. I never had the courage to ask him why he smashed up so many great guitars and amps that I would have given my right hand for. Such an interesting guy though. I'd love to have a chat with him again. Oh well.
