RIP, you are remembered and cherished. Les feuilles mortes (Autumn Leaves), sang by Yves Montand back in the day. How appropriate.

RIP McCoy…..you were to my mind probably the greatest jazz pianist ever. Your technique was so incredibly exciting….forget about the rest. As John Allen has already said, you will certainly be remembered and cherished forever. RIP

McCoy once said, I like to make the people happy, and man he did that and so much more. He is in a class all his own with those big soft hands matched with a heart of a lion. You could feel it in his music. It could take you places. How he would lay it out there whenever he played. My time on earth was special because I could hear this man's music. Thanks McCoy.
