Awesome review, particularly that you're here in Colorado! I saw this wireless backup camera on TV and was seriously considering buying one for my son's truck, but thank goodness I found your video review before I did that! Go Buff's!

I've seen other reviews of this product, the lag seems to be only with iPhone. But I won't buy one, instead looking at Swift Hitch SH04 for a trailer. Thanks for reviewing.

picked one of these up on ebay for under $100 and it arrived today. works fine in my 2015 porsche cayman! didnt want to run wires and drill holes so this was a ideal solution for me. Just thought id share my experience if someone is on the fence following this review.

What a complete waste of money. You are better off buying a specific screen and matched camera that wires into your reverse lights. The mobile phone thing is a waste of time. A steaming pile of poo.

My gosh, that device is horrible. I just purchased a Auto-Vox Solar Wireless Kit and it works great. I'm using it for my small RV, as a backup camera and it's really good. Check this one out as the one you are testing now, to me, doesn't work very well.
Auto-Vox Solar Wireless Backup Camera Kit, 5 Mins DIY Installation Backup Camera Wireless, 5-inch Monitor and HD Image Rear View Camera for Cars and Medium Sized Vehicles.

Everyone keeps saying this has Bluetooth, but I thought that the guy said he turned his Wi-Fi on to get it to connect… I'm starting to wonder if that uses Wi-Fi or Bluetooth now…

Guys and gals, always do research before buying. Items like these are out there and people are getting screwed and scammed.

As the owner of this American company, it saddens me to see such comments about a product that works perfectly fine for most people. You can check many other review videos of the product for BOTH iOS and Android and it works fine. I'm sorry Alex didn't get the answers he requested in regards to troubleshooting the product, it seems like he got a bad unit (Wifi chip or bad antennae for the lag and startup time) or had outdated software, which is covered under warranty by our company. If anything this is a failure in customer service from our product team responding to his questions more than anything and I apologize for that. As far as the location tracking is concerned, that is not actually TRACKING and RECORDING your location, it's simply accessing this information as part of a BLE beacon protocol (This could probably be explained better in FAQ). Why do you say? Well, Bluetooth beacons require you to be in close proximity to your car and we use that as an auto-launch feature to pop-up the camera feed faster through the TAP QuickLaunch button. And, please, if you have negative opinions, I don't care to hear them if you haven't tried the product, Alex's feedback is a different story since he is a professional reviewer and played around with one of our samples. I already gleaned the information that matters from this professional reviewer and any actual user's feedback. Thanks for taking the time to check out the product, Alex, and I am sorry we failed you with answering your support issues and troubleshooting questions that you had prior.

For reference: Here is another review where it works perfectly fine–> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7amacEYrVO0
