Do you need to pay separate subscription for each camera if you have a hive external and internal camera or if you have 2 or more of each? Thanks

Interesting video but two fecking advert breaks withing the first six minutes is a real turn off.
I learned a bit about the Hive system but not enough.

It’s a great shame the camera is not fixed in a more secure way, but I guess if it’s mounted in such a position which is not readily accessible without a ladder, this may be okay. I’m thinking of installing two security cameras for my very elderly in-laws and I love the Hive product from what I’ve see. Great videos Dave, very helpful.

Only having a magnet to mount it is a straight no from me. So disappointing as I was 90% sure I was going to get two of these, now i'll be getting 0. Great review! Sort it out, Hive, it's security after all. What good's the camera if it gets kicked? 🙂

    Hi there.
I don't think you mentioned the night time performance? Does it work in the dark? Or would you need a smart light to come on to see anything?

Thanks Dave..really like the Hive products – I even have the Hive app controlled radiator valves ! I use the motion sensor to turn on all my Philips Hue lights if there is motion between the early hours. I use the window sensor on my garage door to detect someone opening the garage between certain hours which will then active a hive plug to sound an alarm

I am betting that a bit of epoxy would keep the camera in place instead of relying on the magnet. The camera sounds pretty good, but I the white color makes it stand out too much, a nice grey color would hide it better, I wish manufacturers would start thinking about the color more.

Totally off subject but have you ever thought of reviewing a 'gaming chair' seeing that you spend so much time seated in front of the camera ?! I recently bought a Secret Labs Omega chair – it is one awesome chair! 😉
