Only two quality is what I'm concern with. Sharpness (Both have it almost equal) and IS (Image stability). GoPro wins both hands down.

Gopro hero 2018 is great! Couple of tricks to it and it’s a hero 5 👍
Yi Lite mess up fps. It's never the exact 30, 25, 50 or 60 frames per second. It's always something like 24,965, 29,978 etc. Every time a little different. And that causes MAJOR problems with editing this material in editing software like, for example Sony Vegas. And for me, it's a serious problem.
So… Gopro hero 2018 or yi lite??

Sorry but the Gopro was significantly better with image and stabilization. To say otherwise is nonsense, and your side by side comparisons clearly show this.

Definitely late to the game but love the videos. I'm taking an island trip in a couple of months to include scuba diving and looking at used/refurb GoPros. Depreciation seems to have hit the Hero 2018 hard, you can find refurbished on eBay for under $70. Worth it for the money or would I be better off getting a refurbished Hero6 black?
