Famed NFL quarterback, John Elway plays a mean guitar. Lots of people don't know about his early days when he called himself "George Thorogood".

Fought my way into George concert at Cornell in 1981. Stuck at the side of the stage, stack of speakers blasting into my right ear. I was deaf in that ear for about 6 months. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Had a joint at the Illawarra sports club circa 81 NSW Aus with George, who just happened to be sitting across the table having a beer when I lit up. I had no idea it was him, he said eh man you wanna share that, Sure man here, he tooks a couple of good tokes and got up said thanks and went on stage and sent every one stone deaf. That was called freedom. It only lasted about two or three years before Cops got in with Dope growers and banged the price up a 1000% and created the modern corporate Real Estate economy of Australia. Now they are saving the planet. God Save us from Planet savers.
