Do you or any other user, know how it would work on a Schubert C4 Pro helmet? Seeing it allready have a mic built-in
You seem to be one of the few who give this camera any sort of positive review. Most reviews slate it. It's something I'm considering, so really on the fence right now.
Its a shame the charging port is the same as the mic port unlike the Drift Ghost S where you could record, talk and charge the battery at the same time.
hi i have a few cameras drift ghosts ,, as for microphone mount inside helmet i have the mic hanging on the bridge of my nose,and the wire gaffa taped inside the helmet the sound quality is great and you dont really see the mic, but no wind noise at all, your aware of a shadow if you like but you soon get used to it …………..john
Not much of an improvement on the X or the XL regarding picture quality while riding.
The drift company has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They take months and months to take care of any problems. And they take months to reply too. I have had two defective cameras from them and it has taken a year to get any satisfaction and I continue to have one defective camera now
2020 / FEB 20 — I bought a 4K model – it failed – it took many months for drift to authorize a replacement – it took months to send a replacement –
They are extremely slow to reply to emails – they promised to send me 2 accessories because of unexpected shipping charges – but months have passed and the promised items have not arrived.
Their customer service is absolutely horrible – good luck if you buy one and it has a problem.

Thanks for the review – have ordered one from The Visor Shop and added so me accessories, the shoulder harness – steady view without head-turns hopefully, extension mic, extra battery and the side screen, plus a handlebar mount. I think with the very close nature of the shrubbery and trees/hedges you are always going to get a lot of motion blur unless it is better at 4K? With open fields, brighter sunshine, you may get an improved video to view. we have open views in NZ so hoping to share a bit of NZ countryside motoring!! New RE 650 Interceptor due shortly… 🙂
LIFE LONG BIKER. AM I MISSING THE POINT HERE IV BEEN LOOKING FOR A SMALL CAMERA TO MOUNT UNDER MY VISER FOR INSURANCE REASONS AND WITH GOOD BATTERY LIFE CLOSEST I CAN GET IS A GRO PRO SESSION EVERYTHING ELSE IS STUPID BIG AND WITH A TONE OF FEATURES THAT AREN'T REQUIRED. BATTERY LIFE IS ONLY GOOD FOR AROUND AN HOUR THO WHICH IS CRAP. AND YOU CANT SWAP OUT THE BATTERY IN THE SESSION. I DONT REALLY WONT TO MOUNT TO THE BIKE AND PLUG TO A USB AS THIS WILL ONLY GIVE A FRONT VIEW. WITH IT CENTRE BENEATH MY VISOR ITS LIKE A 3RD EYE AND SEES WHAT I SEE. BUT I CANT SEE ANY OTHER OPTION IN ORDER TO HAVE A CAMERA THAT WILL RUN ON A LONG TRIP…….. SO CALLED BIKE CAMERAS ARE A LOAD OF CRAP AS FAR AS SEE TO MANY FLOORS. THEY ALL SEEM TO MOUNT ON THE SIDE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. ( YOU GET TAGED THE SIDE THE CAMERA IS NOT ON WHAT USE IS IT…. N EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS TO BIG TO MOUNT UNDER THE VISOR…………WHEN IS SOMEONE GOING TO COME UP WITH A NICE SMALL DECENT CAMERA WITH A LONG BATTERY LIFE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BATTERY AT A REASONABLE PRICE.
Not really convinced about the camera but NOTHING beats that Triumph whistle!

The picture quality doesn’t seem that brilliant
Hi, might seem a silly question to some but is there a way of mounting this camera so that, whilst riding you can see the handlebars/dash as well as the view ahead? Cheers.
Die GHOST 4K hat sich für mich nicht bewährt. Einmal hat man sie mir
freundlicherweise wegen technischen Defekt in eine andere umgetauscht,
danke nochmal dafür. Ich hab sie nur gekauft wegen video tagging, d.h.
Aufnahme nur auf Knopfdruck, aber 1min rück- und vorwirkend. Es
passiert etwas interessantes, man löst aus, und der Film ist im Kasten.
Ist besser als eine Loop Funktion, bei der man immer manuell
schreibschützen muss.
Video tagging macht laufend Probleme, schreibt so lange Filme, dass die Karte schnell voll ist, löst falsch aus usw.
Ich vermisse ausserdem den Geo Stempel und Dateinamen, aus denen man direkt Datum und Zeit ersehen kann.
Ob so eine Kamera 1 oder 2 oder 4K hat ist doch völlig wurst, man will seine Filme doch nicht auf Großleinwand zeigen.

Won’t be much good as an accident/dash cam as when the memory card is full stops recording, it needs to overwrite oldest footage
Is it possible to view the videoclips from the camera itself.?
Does this model has video tagging function?
