Hello. Does this work well remotely when viewing via your cell phone?
Just purchased from Best Buy. Where do I get instructions on how to use it after initial set up? Camera just sits there and doesn’t capture any movement.
my new camera doesn,t record events everything else works as should it registers as card storage but doesn't respond on the app to privacy mode &event recording as the original does?

Can this camera, instead of sending video to the cloud, can it be configured to send video to a specific network location on our local networks?
I refuse to use the cloud because that's just a money grab.
I've been using my Cisco and Foscams for years and have video sent directly to my server.
Also, can you video live video via a web browser inside the network?
Like, setting up a static IP on the camera and then monitoring it/them with say, Google Chrome or other?
If this cam can do that, then it's a possible replacement.

Hi I just bought one of these so I can see what my kids are getting up at home when I'm at work, how do you view the camera from an outside location on your phone, that part has me slightly confused..? do you log onto the camera through your homes wi fi address or what's the go..?

You cannot record to SD card full video. Only short motion/sound detection. This camera is 100% a joke. Notice they never list that on the box anywhere? How this is never covered on this video i have no idea. Maybe cause "affiliate links". D-link has become the scum of the smart world. Dont list an item as a camera with SD storage if it can only record small clips of motion. Easy.
