That was me, just so you know; don't get excited – I was already getting obsessively ugly; just another (needed to be fired or "paid" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~) New York City hospitality, one late (December) 2 week staycation – in 1994. My only, in fact, sociable 2 weeks like that.

Time was drifting – this rock had got to roll So, I hit the road and made my getaway Restless feeling really got ahold I started searching for a better way I kept on looking for a sign in the middle of the night But, I couldn't see the light – no, I couldn't see the light I kept on looking for a way to take me through the night Couldn't get it right Couldn't get it right Philly Fever made me feel alright But, I must admit it got the best of me Gettin' down so deep I could've drowned Now, I can't get back the way I used to be I kept on looking for a sign in the middle of the night But, I couldn't see the light – no, I couldn't see the light I kept on looking for a way to take me through the night Couldn't get it right Couldn't get it right New York City took me with the tide And, I nearly died from hospitality Left me stranded – took away my pride Just another no-account fatality I kept on looking for a sign in the middle of the night But, I couldn't see the light – no, I couldn't see the light I kept on looking for a way to take me through the night Couldn't get it right

Cymbals seem to be PAiSTe 2oo2, electric piano seems to be a Fender-Rhodes! Awesome stuff, and they were actually playing this stuff! 🙂 Awesome tune. I just want to go back, 2020 is a piece of shit. The idiot elite want us all dead, courtesy of a "vaccine", and are taking over. I just want my 1968 Yamaha made for Rogers and sold as Rogers, R-380 drum kit with my 1996 and one 1987 PAiSTe "red label" 2oo2 cymbals, my 1962 Hammond C-3 with Leslie 122 Ii converted to from a 22-R, and my 1966 Wurlitzer 140-B electric piano with a rare 903-B external amp, and my trumpets, and the works can go screw off. This era was the best era in music in all of history, and that is saying a great deal! But it is true! Ah, and I also want my light bulb and fixture collection, especially mc early fluorescent stuff and my antique Christmas stuff like C-6 series type lights, and they can shove junk LED's straight up their asses, except ones on 1970's electronics as indicator lights, the only use they were ever worth quarter of a SHIT for! Cheers! 🙂
