The "after" picture — swapped out chairs with a pair found in another part of the building, brought up an empty bookcase from the basement, and currently in negotiations about removing the big bulletin board on the other side of my window. I feel Soooo much better!

Technically the computer lab for the research group I work with. I shared my workspace with seven computers until the Sparc station in the corner starting making horrendous screeching sounds. Somehow this room remains frigidly cold despite the sheer volume of heat-producing equipment.
