Hello Lifehackster!! Awesome review!! Thank you so much!! The camera you are referring to is the the Arlo Pro 2.
Dam it is slow. Unless u have a slow internet set up system or services. But it seam laggy. Does any other company out there that is better then arlo. That is wireless. I hate to run wires and drill hole in to the wall.
does it work with Alexa or google?
It works off of the Wi-Fi, it will take 3 seconds to disarm it. Walk up to the side of any house cut the internet cable and the whole security system will go down including your house alarm. That’s why my house alarm and security cameras are hardwired straight to the motherboard, it records none stop 24/7. If the power goes out the security system will stay active for 12 hours from a backup battery.

I have Ring Floodlighg and Ring Doorbell Canera
I love it better but not bad for anyone that wants something really simple to hook up
My Ring Floodlight takes 2-2.5 seconds to load after I click notification
I have Att Fiber with Asus Router that has 2G/5G. Connected to 5G, just need to connect my Floodlight to the 5G and it'll be even faster, its connected to my AT&T Fiber

Hi! I’m getting overwhelmed with all of the camera options. Was wondering if you could suggest the top three for me. I’m interested in floodlight cameras and a doorbell camera, as well as home security system with 24/7 professional pro-active monitoring services. My issue with Arlo is that they don’t have people watching the footage nor pro-actively calling the contact or authorities if there is suspicious activity. But the video quality is great. What I’m seeing here, it has a lag time that really puts a hamper on being fast-acting in case of break-in. You seem like the expert on all things camera, so please help me!!!
