What ever you do stay away from Muddy. They have HORRIBLE customer service. Their Manifest is the the worst camera I have ever used and the app is garbage. I just wish that I had read the reviews on line, more specifically the numerous bad reviews on the Stealth Command app (it is for Muddy Cell Cams) on the App Store, before wasting my money on these.

Using the Browning defender Scout Pro. Has been a great camera. Customer should know the signal strength of the area you are using. Has been in woods 3 weeks batteries are still full after 400 photos. The app is easy to use and the set up is simple. If you have used any browning camera the customer service has been good. Pics are clear and focused

Spypoint is junk! The cameras and the customer support are horrible. Had two link-darks and one link micro. The link dark cameras made it about 6 months before the constant firmware updates started and then it was down hill from there. Customer support took 2 months to answer one of my emails! The larger the company has grown the worse it's become.

I have 3 cameras in the field from Moultrie: (2x) XV-6000 and (1x) XV-7000. "V" is for Verizon. They've been very reliable and easy to use. They're available AT&T or Verizon. The App is very user friendly. Any thoughts on them? I'm happy to try one of those you recommended. Oh – and did I mention the X6000 cost only $125 and the X7000 only $160? Some of those you reviewed are much more expensive (Ridgetec – $400 – that's noticeable).

Will any of these trail cams automatically send video's/pictures back to my pc or by phone?
Have you done any of reviews or have any suggestions on a good trail cam in the $100-$200 range?: thank you

Tactacam Reveal. Also, don't waste your time with the antennas that come with any of these camera, they are terrible. Get a magnet mount omnidirectional cell phone antenna comes with 12.5ft of coax $20 on amazon and make yourself a ground plane to mount it on so the antenna can radiate signal (round metal lid with L bracket to support). Mount it as high as you can on the tree. Your signal will be 10 times better.

So what happens if someone steals the camera (out of view)? Can it be tracked, etc? Or are you just out $250-$450 bucks?

I have a spypoint cell camera and now you have to be a member to get all the things they give for free. So basically 100 bucks to be a member, 5 bucks for every 50 HD photos, the plan fee which you have 3 to choose from. All of that and out of nowhere you camera just stops working.

What would cause the covert Code to not take photos at night half time. I use a cheap backup camera to make theft harder and noticed I’m missing a lot of photos on the covert.

Spypoints Micro was good when they work! Me and 2 friends purchased them and slowly all of ours have stopped working even after doing the firmware updates. Mine just died today after doing a firmware update. Was going to just use it like a regular camera and gave the update one last try……no luck. Hard to recommend them. Less than 1 year old on all of ours.

Where's the reconyx rank. I've had 3 spypoints and 3 stealth cams and all 6 were straight up JUNK! I've had great luck with the spartan go cams tho.
